WHAT IS BAMBOO CHARCOAL?

In simple terms, bamboo charcoal is derived from bamboo. Most people are familiar with the charcoal used to barbeque, but few know what it is or how it’s made.

It simply involves heating bamboo in a kiln to a specific temperature before removing the oxygen supply.

Bamboo Charcoal is produced from the rapidly growing moso bamboo. This type can grow two feet or more in a single day.
